As part of the recent Geneva Motor Show, several small Chinese carmakers presented their first electric vehicles, which suggests that there will be a lot of them at the upcoming auto show in Beijing. Thus, the BAIC auto concern was the first to show its electric supercar.

According to official sources, the electric car was based on the electric car racing team "Campos Racing" (Spain), which takes an active part in the world Formula E series. However, unlike the Spanish car, where power is limited by the racing regulations, the Chinese have the right to put an engine of any power in the car. Note that the standard model is equipped with a 272-horsepower electric motor capable of developing 225 km / h. Unfortunately, there is no exact information about the power of the Chinese electric supercar, but representatives of the BAIC company operate with the following figures: acceleration dynamics to 100 km / h - in 3 seconds, maximum speed - more than 260 km / h, which suggests the presence of a more powerful power unit.

Another feature of the car will be the maximum range of 300 km, which can be achieved with fully charged car batteries, the ability to change the ground clearance in the range of 80-120 mm, as well as doors in Lamborghini style.

The pre-production version of the BAIC electric car, named BJEV, was assembled in Spain and will be shown to the public on April 25 at the Beijing Auto Show. While the car is presented as a test sample, however, if there is a sufficient number of positive responses, the car may well get on the conveyor.
