As it became known, the well-known company Hyundai announced the release of a new 8-seater Hyundai Palisade 2019 crossover instead of the currently existing Santa Fe. Officially, the new crossover will be presented on November 28 in Los Angeles and for good reason, since the name of the car is taken from the legendary Pasific Palisades resort, located in the western part of California in the United States. In accordance with this location, designers have developed the appearance and interior of the new Hyundai Palisade.
In total, the new Hyundai Palisade crossover is able to accommodate 8 passengers, that is, for a family with children. In addition, the luggage compartment is the largest in the manufacturer's class. In tandem with the new design, the engineers installed Hyundai's state-of-the-art active comfort and safety systems. Even the exterior design will talk about the safety of the new Hyundai Palisade crossover, according to the designers, and if we look at the Hyundai Palisade in more detail, this is the production version of the HDC-2 Grandmaster concept, which was previously unveiled in the summer of 2018 in Busan. According to preliminary data, the novelty is built on a single platform with the Kia Telluride. As it became known, the novelty will take the place of the Hyundai Grand Santa Fe crossover, also designed for three rows of seats, besides, the car looks like its predecessor.
The new 2019 Palisade features the same signature grille, square headlights, a similar profile and slim LED rear feet. Experts assume that a 3.3-liter V6 gasoline engine with a capacity of 290 horsepower will be installed under the hood of the new crossover, as well as a hybrid installation based on a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine and an electric motor. The total power of such a hybrid plant is 400 hp.
According to preliminary data, the official start of sales of Palisade is scheduled for the summer of 2019 in the United States, but it is not yet known when the sale of the new crossover will start in other countries. According to various sources, the starting price of the Hyundai Palisade starts at $ 58,000, but it will be more accurate to say after the official start of sales.
