At the general meeting of shareholders of AvtoVAZ on June 26, the results of the year were summed up. Representatives of the AvtoVAZ plant revealed some details about the new domestic SUV.
According to official information, the front-wheel drive car will receive an 8-valve 1.6-liter engine. The motor will be paired with a manual transmission. The crossover will be equipped with an improved suspension. The ground clearance of the SUV will be 208 mm. The body is finished with plastic overlays.In addition, the following equipment will be installed on Lada Kalina Cross 2014:
- Climate control system.
- The latest multimedia system equipped with USB, Bluetooth and Handsfree.
- Airbag.
- Heated side mirrors.
Initially, the new model will be produced in a single "norm" configuration. Information about the cost of the crossover is still hushed up. The official demonstration of the car will take place at the Moscow Motor Show at the end of summer. Earlier it was reported that the production of the crossover Lada Kalina Cross will begin in the fall of this year. The exact price for a complete set will be within 510 thousand rubles.
